Leader Bank Pavilion
One of America’s most successful independent bands, Dispatch are coming to the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion for two nights, the second of which is Friday 21st September with special guest Nahko and Medicine for the People.
The Boston based jam band released their sixth full length studio album last year, America, Location 12, making the Billboard 200 and marking 21 years together.
The three members of Dispatch founded the non-profit, Amplifying Education, to encourage volunteers to take on simple actions to help improve schools and support education. The campaign works with the Calling All Crows non-profit to organize tour projects and over the last year it has worked with more than 600 fan volunteers working nearly 4,000 hours to improve schools in North America and Europe. The band has also collected more than 10,000 donated books for Better World Books and has raised more than $250,000 to support local organizations. The band has already participated in school improvement projects in Boston, Denver, Chicago, and New York. They are an inspiration for change.
If Friday’s tickets for Dispatch are sold out, Thursday’s might be available here.
