First Aid Kit are coming to the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on Friday 7th September to support their latest album, Ruins.
The Swedish indie-folk duo, consisting of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg from Stockholm have been composing songs together since 2007 and took their name from flicking through an English dictionary at random.
In 2008, they became internationally known by their YouTube video cover of the Fleet Foxes’s song “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song” and have since gone on to release four albums, two EPs and a handful of singles.
Their fourth studio album, Ruins received acclaim from critics, with ten top 10 spots and two number 1 chart positions.
