Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2013. The band consists of Joe Russo (drums, vocals), Marco Benevento (keyboards, vocals), Dave Dreiwitz (bass, vocals), Tom Hamilton (guitar, vocals), and Scott Metzger (guitar, vocals). The band plays primarily originals in the style of the Grateful Dead, as well as covers of songs by the Grateful Dead and other artists.
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has been performing together since 2013, and in that time, they’ve become one of the most popular Grateful Dead tribute bands around. Their performances are known for their high energy and tight musicianship, and they always put on a great show.
