Sarah McLachlan is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for her emotive mezzo-soprano voice and her songwriting skills. She will be performing at the Leader Bank Pavilion on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Sarah McLachlan’s musical roots began in the 80s with her first foray into the industry as a member of an all-female folk rock group called The October Game. She began her solo career in 1988 with the release of her debut album Touch. The album was a critical and commercial success, spawning the hit singles “Vox” and “Hold On”.
Sarah’s follow-up album, Solace, was released in 1991 and featured the hit singles “The Path of Thorns (Terms)” and “Into the Fire”. The album cemented Sarah’s status as a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter.
Sarah’s third album, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, was released in 1993 and featured the hit singles “Possession” and “Good Enough”. The album was a massive success, selling over six million copies worldwide.
Sarah’s fourth album, Surfacing, was released in 1997 and featured the hit singles “Adia” and “Angel”. The album was another massive success,
